minä perhonen in berlin

a visit at a shop in Mitte-Berlin that needs some lifting up.
a friend of mine invited me to join her planning the space.

I learned something about roros blankets from norway.
the rack you see in the first picture is made by NOI berlin.

settings

a room in a room

opening florastrasse 25

there are still some things missing, a curtain for the window...

almost done

furniture is moving in. quite happy about all lamps, especially the tas-ka lamps you see
on the image. the ball-lamps are old ones but giving a very modern type of light, milky
blue. the small blue-lacquered tables are designed and made by two young designers,
one soon with his own collection at dmy, unfortunately no website to link. and the wallpaper!
my favourite one, a little bit hidden in the back-room but not less in the effect.

covering

three days before opening

floor ready

a wonderful plain floor, shining. things are moving in. the first time I was working
inside the café on the wallpaper to come. would be great workplace too.

lightgreen - lightblue - lightbrown

short visit at SINA to check the colours. all walls are painted white with a slight
tone. do you see the green light in the kitchen? the famous palm leaves wallpaper
will be attached to the wall facing the gree-light-kitchen.

BEfore at SINA

this is how it looks like right now at the restaurant I am working on. it looks wonderful as all
those functional changes are almost done. next step will be the floor, concrete with a layer
and how it looked some time ago. it is a change, obviously:
